"Figurka zobrazuje milujícího dědečka, jak ho většina z nás vidí – poznamenaného časem, laskavou a jemnou duši. Zezadu však vidíme, jak ho někteří vnímají – jako terč iracionálního hněvu. Figurka je znepokojivá, protože ztělesňuje znepokojivé odpojení rasové nenávisti, která zbavuje nevinné oběti jejich lidskosti." – Vinyl Pulse

YEYE je druhou částí řady designových hraček Truth to Power po THE MESSENGER, poctě historickému protestu Colina Kaepernicka. MunkyKing spolupracoval se studiem YARMS design, aby ve vinylu znovu vytvořil podobu dědečka zakladatele společnosti.

MunkyKing chce zvýšit povědomí o realitě nenávisti a násilí vůči Asiatům a věnuje část výtěžku na podporu #stopasianhate a dalších asijských iniciativ.

Ellie A. ★★★★★

The grandpa's posture really got me when I unboxed him — that tired stoop feels so familiar. Vinyl has a nice weight to it too, sits solid on the shelf without tipping. Honestly one of the sweeter pieces I've picked up this year.

Chloe ★★★★★

The little grandfather's hunched posture and vinyl build capture such a gentle, nostalgic vibe—exactly the kind of piece I wanted for my shelf. At 6.5 inches he's the perfect size to sit among my other figures without getting lost.

Elizabeth ★★★★☆

The face sculpt really captures that gentle, weathered kindness, and at 6.5 inches it's a perfect desk size. Only gripe is the vinyl base feels a bit light, so I have to be careful it doesn't tip over when I dust it.
