A refreshing break and departure from her more weighty concerns that are caught up in her more observational and naturalistic yet playful works - it’s with UYU and Assteriskats that Soey is able to let go of any self-consciousness of content or concept and run freely and rampantly in the playground.

Soey Milk was born in Seoul, Korea and moved to the United States at the age of eleven. Milk’s early path was leading her to become a ballerina, but after she was first introduced to painting, she immediately found a new passion to pursue. Still, some of the ballet dimensions remained, as she was still strongly drawn to human anatomy, which was a cornerstone for the development of her photorealistic style.

Hannah ★★★★★

The lavender color on this vinyl figure is way softer in person than the photos suggest, and at 6.5 inches it fits perfectly on my shelf next to my other con exclusives. Knowing only 200 were made makes it feel like a lucky find.

Ava ★★★★★

Grabbed one of the 200 pieces before it sold out, and the 6.5 inch scale makes it a perfect shelf companion next to my other con exclusives. The lavender paintwork is smoother than I expected for a vinyl figure this size.

Henry T. ★★★★★

The vinyl has a nice weight to it for a 6.5-inch piece, and the misty lavender paint job turned out exactly like the listing photos. It's my little corner of calm on the shelf, and I'm glad I snagged one from the 200 run before they were gone.
