To celebrate the release of Yoskay Yamamoto's art toy, Munky King produced a print of the original painting it is based on, "Screaming for the Sunrise".
This print comes signed and numbered.
The giclee print looks way richer in person than the listing photos, and at 6x8 it fits perfectly on my desk shelf without dominating the space. Knowing it's a numbered edition of 150 makes it feel a bit more special too.
I was a little nervous buying art online sight unseen, but this 6 x 8 piece is perfectly composed and the paper quality feels substantial. It's numbered out of 150, which makes it feel like a real collector's item even at this size.
The colors on this archival giclee print are so rich and warm, it completely transforms the little corner where I hung it. Number 87 out of 150 feels like a nice touch too, knowing it's part of a limited run.
