This special bronze-plated edition of Yoskay's Koibito has a metal coating that will develop a beautiful patina over the years.
The koi's little mustache makes me smile every time I glance at my shelf. At 7 inches it's substantial without hogging space, and the bronze plating has a nice weight to it. Glad I grabbed one before all 30 were gone.
Didn't expect the bronze to have this much weight for a 7 inch piece, it feels substantial on the shelf. The koi detail on the tail is sharper in person than in the photos.
The edition number being limited to just 30 makes this feel like a real collector's piece, and the 7-inch height is perfect for my shelf display. The koi fish design captures that sweetheart meaning beautifully, and the bronze plating catches the light from every angle.
