The clear finish really lets the brushwork show through, and up close you can see each vein painted by hand. I've got it sitting on a shelf next to a few other pieces and it holds its own.
The hand-painted detail on this leaf is genuinely impressive up close, way more delicate than I expected from photos. The clear finish catches the light nicely on my shelf without looking glossy or cheap.
I was a bit nervous buying art online, but the clear finish really lets the hand-painted brushwork shine through in person. It's got a nice weight to it and sits beautifully on my shelf, catching the light from different angles. Definitely a conversation starter.
