Opnieuw gebeeldhouwd voor deze jubileumeditie, Possessed heeft subtiele veranderingen terwijl het trouw blijft aan de oorspronkelijke vorm - gebeeldhouwde details, meer articulatie en een verbeterd ontwerp om eerdere technische problemen aan te pakken. Met een hoogte van 9 inch en 2 figuren, doet het stuk ook afstand van de gradiëntsprays voor een strakkere look.

De Black on Black editie is exclusief voor backers van de Grief Encounters kickstarter-campagne. Grief Encounters is een geanimeerde korte film gebaseerd op de kunst van Luke Chueh.

"Possessed" is gebaseerd op het originele schilderij van de gerenommeerde kunstenaar Luke Chueh. Door gebruik te maken van minimale kleurenschema's, eenvoudige dierfiguren en een schijnbaar eindeloze lijst van ongelukkige situaties, balanceert Chueh stijlvol tussen schattig en bruut, en bewandelt hij de dunne lijn tussen komedie en tragedie.

Didn't expect the matte black finish to look this good in person, the paint has almost no shine to it which makes the glossy eyes really stand out. Nine inches is bigger than I pictured from the photos, and knowing only 200 of these exist makes it the centerpiece of my shelf.

The black-on-black finish on this 9-inch vinyl is way more striking in person than in photos, the matte and gloss layers catch light differently depending on the angle. Mine is number 47 of 200, and the re-sculpted details on the bear's ears and paws are noticeably sharper than the original release.
