The 9.5 inch scale gives the wave detail so much more presence on a shelf than I expected from photos. Resin holds the sharp edges of the original illustration really well, and the paint on the foam crest is clean. Number 10 of the run, so I'm glad I grabbed one.
Didn't expect the resin to feel this solid at 9.5 inches — it's got a nice weight that makes it feel like a proper display piece. The Hokusai-inspired detail holds up way better in person than in photos, and the matte finish keeps it from looking cheap under shelf lighting.
The wave crest curling into that bunny silhouette is even more striking in person—the resin captures every ripple of Kozyndan's linework. At 9.5 inches it holds real presence on my shelf, and the paint application is clean with no sloppy edges. Number 10 of the edition feels like a lucky grab.
