Quando un artista muore, la sua eredità vive. Quest'anno sono andato alla commemorazione di Abigail Gumbiner, un'artista talentuosa e prolifica, madre della mia cara amica Tamar Halpern. Ho incontrato il suo vedovo, il maestro litografo e pittore Peter Holmes. Peter mi ha fatto visitare il suo studio e subito i miei occhi sono stati catturati da una serie di dipinti nascosti in un angolo - persone che lottano contro il sistema, artisti marziali, guerrieri nativi americani e samurai feroci, tutti realizzati in uno stile Rorschach che li faceva sembrare vivi. Così è nata la Warrior Series, una collaborazione tra MK e Peter Holmes. Abigail ha messo un pennello nelle mani di Peter e non posso fare a meno di pensare che ci abbia uniti per condividere i risultati con il mondo.
