"Teos esittää rakastavan isoisän, sellaisena kuin useimmat meistä hänet näkevät: ajan kuluttaman, ystävällisen ja lempeän sielun. Takaa katsottuna kohtaamme kuitenkin sen, miten jotkut näkevät hänet – heidän järjettömän raivonsa kohteena. Teos on hätkähdyttävä, sillä se ilmentää häiritsevää rodullisen vihan kuilua, joka riistää viattomilta uhreilta heidän inhimillisyytensä." – Vinyl Pulse

CNY-painos esittää Yeyen pukeutuneena kuun uuteen vuoteen onnenpunaiseen takkiin ja kultapaitaan.

YEYE on toinen osa Truth to Power -designerlelusarjassa, joka seuraa THE MESSENGERiä, kunnianosoitusta Colin Kaepernickin historialliselle mielenilmaukselle. MunkyKing on tehnyt yhteistyötä YARMS-suunnittelustudion kanssa luodakseen vinyylistä jäljennöksen yrityksen perustajan isoisästä.

MunkyKing haluaa lisätä tietoisuutta AAPI-vihasta ja -väkivallasta ja lahjoittaa osan tuotoista #stopasianhate- ja muiden AAPI-aloitteiden tukemiseen.

Didn't expect the vinyl to feel this solid at 6.5 inches, honestly heavier than I figured for the size. It's sitting on my bookshelf now and the grandpa detail still gets me every time I walk past.

The way he’s hunched over, cane in hand, really captures that gentle, time-worn grandfather vibe, and the vinyl detail on his face is surprisingly sharp for 6.5 inches tall. I actually laughed when I turned him around and saw that other perspective the description hints at—it adds a clever twist to
