Kun taiteilija kuolee, hänen perintönsä elää. Tänä vuonna kävin Abigail Gumbinerin muistotilaisuudessa, joka oli lahjakas ja tuottelias taiteilija sekä rakkaan ystäväni Tamar Halpernin äiti. Tapasin hänen leskensä, mestarilitografin ja taidemaalarin Peter Holmesin. Peter esitteli minulle studionsa, ja heti katseeni kiinnittyi nurkkaan varastoituihin maalaussarjoihin – ihmisiä, jotka kapinoivat järjestelmää vastaan, kamppailulajien harrastajia, intiaanisotureita ja kiivaita samuraita, kaikki Rorschach-tyylillä toteutettuina, mikä teki niistä eläviä. Näin syntyi Warrior Series, MK:n ja Peter Holmesin yhteistyö. Abigail laittoi siveltimen Peterin käteen, enkä voi olla ajattelematta, että hän toi meidät yhteen jakaaksemme tulokset maailman kanssa.
