"Figurka zobrazuje milujícího dědečka, jak ho většina z nás vidí – poznamenaného časem, laskavou a jemnou duši. Zezadu však čelíme tomu, jak ho někteří vidí – jako terč iracionálního hněvu. Figurka je znepokojivá, protože ztělesňuje znepokojivé odpojení rasové nenávisti, která zbavuje nevinné oběti jejich lidskosti." – Vinyl Pulse

Edice CNY představuje Yeyeho oblečeného na lunární nový rok do jeho šťastného červeného kabátu a zlaté košile.

YEYE je druhým dílem řady designových hraček Truth to Power po THE MESSENGER, poctě historickému protestu Colina Kaepernicka. MunkyKing spolupracoval s designovým studiem YARMS, aby ve vinylu znovu vytvořil podobu dědečka zakladatele společnosti.

MunkyKing chce zvýšit povědomí o realitě nenávisti a násilí vůči Asiatům a věnuje část výtěžku na podporu iniciativ #stopasianhate a dalších aktivit na podporu AAPI.

The back of this piece is what got me—you see the gentle grandfather from the front, then the view behind him tells a whole different story. At 6.5 inches it's a solid shelf presence, heavier than I expected for vinyl.

Madison ★★★★★

Didn't expect the vinyl to feel this solid at 6.5 inches, honestly heavier than I figured for the size. It's sitting on my bookshelf now and the grandpa detail still gets me every time I walk past.

Evelyn ★★★★★

The way he’s hunched over, cane in hand, really captures that gentle, time-worn grandfather vibe, and the vinyl detail on his face is surprisingly sharp for 6.5 inches tall. I actually laughed when I turned him around and saw that other perspective the description hints at—it adds a clever twist to
