Když umělec zemře, jeho odkaz žije dál. Letos jsem šel na vzpomínkovou akci za Abigail Gumbiner, talentovanou a plodnou umělkyni a matku mé drahé přítelkyně Tamar Halpern. Setkal jsem se s jejím vdovcem, mistrem litografem a malířem Peterem Holmesem. Peter mi udělal prohlídku svého studia a okamžitě mě upoutala série obrazů zastrčených v rohu – lidé bojující proti systému, bojovníci bojových umění, indiánští válečníci a divocí samurajové, vše provedené v rorschachovském stylu, který je oživoval. Tak vznikla série Warrior, spolupráce mezi MK a Peterem Holmesem. Abigail vložila štětec do Peterovy ruky a nemohu si pomoci, ale myslím, že nás spojila, abychom výsledky sdíleli se světem.
